Sterling Hotel Downtown Sacramento Wedding

From the moment we arrived at the Sterling Hotel in Sacramento, we knew Lexi and Morgan’s wedding day was going to be something special. The first thing that caught our attention was the stunning reception space, adorned with tall floral centerpieces, which added the perfect touch of elegance and made the ballroom feel absolutely magical.

The getting ready room was filled with joy and laughter as Lexi spent the morning with her mom, sister, and maid of honor. It was the perfect way to begin the day, cheerful, relaxed, and full of love.

Lexi and Morgan’s first look was one of the sweetest moments of the day. Happy tears were shed, and the emotion between them was so genuine. We stepped outside for a few portraits, but even with the unseasonably cool weather, it still felt warm, so we moved inside to take more photos in the comfort of the historic hotel.

The ceremony was personal and heartfelt while being officiated by a friend. Lexi and Morgan exchanged the sweetest vows, full of sincerity and love with a dash of humor.

After the ceremony, we captured a few more family and couple portraits before they joined their guests for cocktail hour. We loved seeing them relax and enjoy the moment!

During the toasts, one of their former roommates had the whole room laughing while sharing that one of them (who shall remain nameless) learned to play the saxophone, which in the beginning sounded like “a smoke detector decided to play saxophone.”

Guests were treated to a fun game, followed by dancing, donuts, cake, and late night tacos that kept the party going strong.

It was such a joyful, fun filled day celebrating Lexi and Morgan’s love and commitment. We were so honored to be there to capture it all!
